What is an E-Liquid?

E-liquid (otherwise known as e-juice or vape juice) is the liquid used in e-cigarettes and vape devices. E-liquids are usually made of different proportions of Propylene Glycol (PG) and Vegetable Glycerine (VG). 

E-liquids come in an enormous range of flavours that cater for a variety of tastes. The most common flavours are fruity, sweet-tasting e-liquids such as Red Slush, Tropical Ice Blast and Blackcurrant Chill. You can also find brand inspired flavours such as Classic Cola, Gazillions Strawberry and Fruit Pastels. Or, for those who prefer dessert-like flavours, you can get Sticky Toffee Pudding, Original Custard and Vanilla Fudge.

Additionally, e-liquids can be found with a variety of nicotine levels. For those who are vaping to quit smoking, maybe consider e-liquids that have a higher nicotine strength to begin with whilst hobbyist vapers who haven’t smoked should consider nicotine-free e-liquids.

 

What if I Accidentally Drink an E-liquid?

Although it’s not advised to drink any e-liquid, consuming small amounts of nicotine-free e-liquid is not a cause for concern. However, drinking e-liquids that contain nicotine (especially high levels of nicotine) is a cause for concern and if too much of the liquid is consumed, there’s a chance you’ll suffer nicotine poisoning.
