What Are Nic Salts?

Nicotine Salt is a combination of the purest form of nicotine extracted from tobacco leaves and organic acids like benzoic acid. When mixed, it initiates a chemical reaction that results in the formation of salts, popularly called Nic Salts or Nicotine Salts.

It is a common misconception that nicotine is the main danger within cigarettes, however, it is actually the tobacco itself that carries the most toxins and poses the most health risks. Nic Salts carry far fewer toxins than cigarettes and are all fully TPD compliant under both UK and EU regulations.

Which Strength Should you Use?

Nic Salts are most commonly available in nicotine strength volumes of 6mg, 10mg, and 20mg. Nic salts are absorbed much faster than traditional freebase vape juices, even at lower strengths you should find your cravings satisfied very quickly and for longer periods of time. You may find it best to choose a nicotine strength that best matches the frequency that you smoked traditional tobacco cigarettes previously. For example, if you previously smoked 20 plus cigarettes a day, you should try a 20mg nicotine salt liquid. If this doesn’t work out for you or you have no previous experience to compare to. 

We recommend that you use a 6mg nic salt to start with and you can easily go even lower or work your way up if needed at your own pace. Some brands even offer different strengths such as 12mg or 18mg, helpful if 20mg is too strong for you but 10mg is too weak.

Nicotine is an extremely addictive substance and can have adverse effects if taken in too quickly or too much at once. On higher strength nic salts (18mg, 20mg) we recommend you only take in a few puffs at a time to prevent any health issues.
